Brunch plates, fresh pasta, and a Contemporary Neapolitan Pizza we ferment for seventy-two hours. The focaccia is shaped each morning from the same dough.

The Loaf sits in a quiet, high-ceilinged room in the heart of Fernie. We took over the space a couple of years ago and have been cooking the food we love to eat ever since.

We are not from Italy. We just trust good ingredients, change the menu often, and bake the focaccia every morning from the same dough we use for our pizza.

A focaccia we shape each morning.

Pizza dough, slow-fermented, then pressed and proofed overnight into focaccia. It cools just in time for breakfast. Eggs over crispy potato, smoked salmon on toasted slices, and a French toast that wants to be tiramisu.

Sandwiches stay on through the afternoon, until five.
